ConferenceThe Dairy
Conference assists Teamsters local unions in representing nearly
130,000 dairy employees. Many of these workers are
employed by companies that operate nationwide, although labor agreements are
negotiated by individual local unions.
By monitoring these agreements, the Conference works to
keep wage and benefit uniformity within the industry. The Conference also
negotiates a Master Dairy Agreement for the Central Region with 40 signatory
companies.
The Conference provides help to local unions with grievances, negotiations, company information and organizing and offers a staff of regional representatives for to assist with specific needs. Contact information for the conference:
